How to Send a Claim Player Invitation as a Team Manager with sidelineHD

As a Team Manager, getting parents connected to their players in sidelineHD is quick and easy. There are two simple ways to invite parents to claim and manage their player so they can stay connected to games, stats, and updates.

Option 1: Share a “Claim Your Player” Link or QR Code

This is the fastest and easiest way for parents to claim their player.

Follow these steps:

1. Create or open your team roster
2. Go to the Roster tab
3. Select Invite Player Managers
4. Click the Share button to copy the link or take a screenshot of the QR code
5. Send the link or QR code to your team’s parents

Once parents receive the link or scan the QR code, they can immediately claim their player.

Option 2: Invite Parents by Phone Number

You can also invite parents directly using their phone number — even if the player has already been claimed.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to your Team Page
2. Select the Roster tab
3. Click the pencil icon to edit a player
4. If the player is unclaimed, enter up to three phone numbers and select Save
5. If the player is already claimed, click Invite More

Add the phone numbers and select Send Invite.

Approving Claim Requests

Team Managers can also approve player claim requests directly in the sidelineHD app. When a parent submits a claim request, the Team Manager will receive a text message with a link to approve the request quickly and easily.

With just a few clicks, you can make sure parents are connected and ready to follow along all season long.
